Our delivery drivers load equipment all day, every day, and could do this in their sleep. But, if you have the vehicle needed to tow an equipment trailer, you may prefer to haul the equipment yourself. If you’re new to loading equipment for transport, Anthony is here to show you how it’s done.
To load and secure a mini skid steer onto an equipment trailer for safe transport:
1. Make sure binders are inside trailer
2. Pull out trailer pin
3. Push down trailer front
4. Load equipment, centered over axles
5. Position bucket as flat and low as possible
6. Reconnect trailer pin
7. Chain equipment in back
8. Tighten with binder
9. Chain/tighten in front
10. Check everything
