A trencher is a piece of construction equipment used to dig trenches, and our customers often rent them for laying pipes or electrical cables, or for installing drainage. Trenchers may range in size from walk-behind to ride-on models, and there are also attachments for a skid loader which you may find on the skid steer category page of our website.
Walk-behind trenchers, or portable trenchers, help to dig trenches in a narrower space. Ride-on trenchers give you a higher performance and cover greater digging depths in comparison to the walk-behind version.
We have walk-behind trenchers that are capable of trenching 4” wide and up to 36” in depth. Our ride-on trenchers will trench up to 5” in depth.
Are you in need of a trencher but not sure about what type you need to get your project done? We have a team of knowledgeable staff at Bill’s Equipment & Supply that will help you determine which trencher is best for your job.
Please note: If you're planning on trenching west of Manitou Springs, where the ground is primarily decomposed granite and glacial till, we recommend you rent one of our Bobcat Mini Excavators with a 12" bucket for trenching.
We can deliver all of our equipment when and where you need it. Our three Colorado Springs locations make equipment rental & return easy, convenient and affordable; we are able to offer lower delivery costs to your job-site in the Pikes Peak region because we calculate our delivery from our location nearest you.
